“My dog won’t stop barking!?” At first I just kept feeding him to shut him up, but that doesn’t work anymore.

Question by Was W: “My dog won’t stop barking!?” At first I just kept feeding him to shut him up, but that doesn’t work anymore.
I tried hitting him with a broom handle, and now he’s really aggressive, even more than before. He’s only 9 months old, so I don’t want to put him to sleep. Are golden retrievers usually this bad?

Has he been neutered?I ask this because un neutered males will mark their territory everywhere! I am going to assume you are taking him out enough, but maybe start taking him out every hour. Also restrict his water, after 9 at night take up his water dish until morning.

My dogs fight constantly! How do I prevent them from fighting anymore?

Question by Lex: My dogs fight constantly! How do I prevent them from fighting anymore?
I come home from a full day of work and find that my dogs are fighting. Of course I am tired and my first reaction is to take a nap and relax! As I prop down on the couch or in bed my dogs start growling at eachother and of course that turns into a huge fight for them! I have to get up constantly and seperate them but it never works! One time one dog actually ended up tearing the others nail right out of the foot! OUCH!! What should I do? Oh and by the way i don’t want any advice like: “get an electric collar” I dont want to harm my dogs at all!
