Maximum Visual Treat Awaits Young Readers in New Picture Book

Danville, OH (PRWEB) September 15, 2012

Dalmatian Road is a book that the idea was developed when Blubaugh was driving home from school with her son. The road they were on was patched year after year thus creating various shades from dark black to light gray. She mentioned it was a patched road and her son, Brock, stated it wasn’t a patched road it was a dalmatian road. The foundation of this book was then created.

Looking at life through a child’s eyes can be a real enjoyable experience. In Dalmatian Road, Blubaugh introduces children to a world of black and white which is not dull at all. This deceptively simple read holds a wealth of concepts that readers may not realize at first glance—from identifying animals to naming colors to letting the imagination soar to greater heights. Blubaugh further wrote, “I hope you enjoy the rhyming as much as we did on that drive home. We really do live in a Dalmatian world.”

Despite its spare prose and pared-down narration, Dalmatian Road educates and fascinates. Jam packed with vibrant illustrations and creative use of language, this skillfully- crafted piece by Blubaugh subtly exemplify ingenuity. This book is suitable for all ages.
