Fremont Pet Sitter Collects Pet Items and Donates Them to S.F East Bay Animal Shelters and Rescues

Fremont, CA (PRWEB) November 05, 2011

Rick Delgado, president of The Woof Pack, LLC, announces that his company has set the goal of collecting a minimum of $ 10,000 worth of donations for the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters’ Presents 4 Pets campaign, also known as P4P. This event coincides with National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week, November 1 – 7, but will continue until the end of November, or later.

These donations provide desperately needed support to keep San Francisco east bay area animal shelters and animal rescue services safe and operational. This will be the fourth year Mr. Delgado’s company has participated in P4P. The company urges their clients and pet lovers to make whatever donations they can in pet food, toys, treats, blankets, towels, leashes, collars, newspapers, etc.

“We could really use food this year. Times are tough for everyone now,” commented Nancy Lyon of the Ohlone Humane Society. “I applaud all the help we get from our drop off sponsors, and for all who donate items for pets,” says Rick Delgado. Because of the pressures the current economy is putting on these charities, donations such as cat and dog food are the most important this year.
