Question by Anon: My testicles hurt. I think its the Vas Deferens? But I’m a teen?
m 17 and I think that my right VD hurts. I’m not sure if its that though. Guys, you know how it feels to get hit down there right? Thats how I feel. I haven’t gotten hit there in a long time. Could it be an infection? I’m urinating normally. Its just that the pain is there and it shifts from my left to right. Prior to the pain starting (its been 3 days with the same pain) I woke up, had to go and run outside in the snow, catch my dog, and as we ran, he was pulling me, so i had to run harder than usual to keep up. When I got home, I took a hot bath. When I got out, about 10 mins later, I felt as if someone lightly tapped my testicles. Then the middle of my lower back started to hurt. Are they related? My back has been hurting prior to the testicular pain due to me getting on an equipment meant to do upside-down crunches. I’m taking some antibiotics and ibuprofen. The pain comes and goes.
I read online and some other men have the same pain that I do, except for the burning sensation. They’ve run ultrasounds, blood tests, and urine test and they all came back negative. Could it be an infection of the prostate, bladder, or kidneys? Whats wrong with me? dudes its my balls!
Please help, I already posted this and all i got was “it could be prostate cancer” but i’m only 17, so its nearly impossible for it to be that.

If you’re not having ANY urinary problems like frequency, incontinence, dysuria (pain while peeing), hematuria (blood in pee), or pain in the pelvic region or flank, then you can you reassure yourself that you do not have anything wrong with your bladder, prostate and kidneys. You probably have epididymitis which is an inflammation of the epididymis, a structure on the back of your testicles. It’s really common to get. When I got it, the doctor gave me Naproxen which is a NSAID (like ibuprofen) but I guess it works better since a doctor gave it. It took me about 4 – 5 days of taking the medication for there to be any signs of getting better down there. Good luck, I know it sucks for your balls to hurt.
